The Sixty-fourth World Health Assembly (WHA) will discuss the Draft Global Health Sector Strategy for HIV, 2011-2015, developed by WHO. The Strategy was requested by the previous WHA and received broad support from the 128th Executive Board in January 2011.
The Strategy, after being reviewed and adopted by WHA, aims to guide the global health sector actions, in particular, confirming key priorities by WHO and countries in the next phase of the response to HIV/AIDS.
